If you stain a rug here are the steps to take:

Before cleaning, especially on a natural fibre rug, test a corner first. Use a cotton bud or small cloth to check if the rug can withstand the product, even if it’s natural

Sponge gently, removing any excess with absorbent paper or microfibre cloths.

To avoid spreading the stain, always dab from the edge towards the centre.

Place a thick, dry cloth under the stained area of the rug. This protects your floor and absorbs any excess product.

Use the specific product as naturally as possible, leaving it on for as long as necessary (no more and no less).

Above all, don’t rub too hard as this could damage the fibres and/or the colour.
